  • Travel to statewide auctions and estate sales to purchase furniture.
  • Arrange furniture in store and price
  • Set up store page on Facebook, place ads, interact with customers, and make sales.
  • Hire and train employees.

2016 – present


• Short-term property investor.
• Own and operate four short-term rentals.
• Duties:
• Identify and precisely design what needs done to remodel a distressed house.
• Locate qualified workman to gut houses and remodel.
• Shop for best price on needed items, such as appliances, lighting, tiles, and flooring.
• Meet with contractors to discuss progress and what needs to be done.
• Rehab condos if needed and purchase furnishings for them.
• List short-term units on 3 platforms including writing descriotions, taking and posting pictures, watching market, and adjusting prices as needed.
• Respond to inquiries, send check-in information, welcome guests, review after departure.
• Purchase linens and supplies.
• Schedule maid service.
• Do monthly unit checks to ensure maid is doing proper job and no repairs are needed.
• Continue to find and add amenities that guests enjoy.
